AUDITIONS on SEPT 27-28 for OTHER DESERT CITIES and NO EXIT
Dear actors and friends of actors,
The Weekend Theater, 7th & Chester in downtown Little Rock, has set auditions for our two winter shows. The auditions will be at 10 A.M. on Saturday, September 27th and 6 P.M. Sunday, September 28th at The Weekend Theater for the following shows:
Other Desert Cities, directed by Ralph Hyman and No Exit, directed by Tom Tinker. Auditions will consist of reading from the script; you do not have to prepare anything prior to the audition. Scripts will not be available prior to auditions.
OTHER DESERT CITIES
Other Desert Cities, written by Jon Robin Baitz, will rehearse November 1st through December 4th with performances December 5-20. There will be time off for Thanksgiving break.
One role, the mother Polly Wyeth, will not be auditioned, as it is precast with Judy Trice playing the part. The other four roles are not precast; we will need a male playing in his 60’s-70’s, a female playing in her 50’s-70’s, a female playing in her 40’s and a male playing in his 30’s.

NO EXIT
No Exit, written by Jean-Paul Sartre, rehearses December 6th through January 15th with performances January 16-31. There will be time off for Christmas break.
No roles are precast. Four roles needed: 1 male (late 20’s to 40’s), 2 females (late 20’s to 40’s), and one character that can be either male or female (no definitive age required).

WHAT TO BRING
* Please print, fill out and bring the attached Audition Form with you to the auditions. There will be blank forms available at the theater as well.

* If you do not have a recent photo on file at TWT, please bring a color or b/w, medium- or head-shot with you. It should be no larger than 4in x 4in.
REHEARSALS
Rehearsals usually take place somewhere between the hours of 6:30 p.m. and 10 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays and 1 p.m. – 5 p.m. Saturdays. It is usually the director’s choice whether to rehearse Sundays from 1 p.m. – 5 p.m. or 6:30 p.m. – 10 p.m.
