The Weekend Theater is proud to announce auditions for
Circle Mirror Transformation
by Annie Baker, directed by Dakota Mansfield,
held on Saturday, July 1 at 6pm.
The audition will consist of cold reads from the script, no monologues needed. Audition forms will be provided at auditions, with space for a headshot up to 2″ x 2″. If you don’t have a headshot, photos can be taken at the audition.
Circle Mirror Transformation will run August 25 through September 10 at The Weekend Theater, with showtimes at 7:30pm on Fridays and Saturdays, and 2:30pm on Sundays.
When four lost New Englanders who enroll in Marty’s six-week-long community-center drama class begin to experiment with harmless games, hearts are quietly torn apart, and tiny wars of epic proportions are waged and won. A beautifully crafted diorama, a petri dish in which we see, with hilarious detail and clarity, the antic sadness of a motley quintet.
