The basis for the 1967 film adaptation starring Audrey Hepburn and Alan Arkin, Wait Until Dark is the story of Susy Hendrix, a recently blinded woman living in New York City with her husband, and a trio of con men – Mike, Carlino, and Roat – in pursuit of a child’s doll. When these stories collide, it becomes clear just how far these men are willing to go to find the doll…and how hard Susy will fight to keep herself safe.
